Because SBC has a extensive student body, we are able to offer personalized assistance, devoting a great deal of attention to your individual needs. We are dedicated to making your experience as a university student as stimulating and rewarding as possible, so please do not hesitate to ask for help.

We provide a full range of student services. Some of these are located on many campus and others are at partner institutions, particularly London, Leeds, Manchester universities.

Important notice regarding confidentiality:

SBC Student Services will handle your requests in a completely confidential manner, within normal legal constraints. SBC Student Services is not part of the academic structure. Personal information disclosed to SBC Student Services staff or requests for assistance with regard to sensitive matters are not reported to the Uni faculty. In those cases where the staff feels consultation with the faculty is necessary, your permission will be requested before doing so or you will be advised to do so directly.

The SBC Academic Resource Centre is Hiring!

International Student Services

SBC International Student Services offers a wide variety of services and programs to international students at the Universities of United Kingdom. The SBC staff provides information and programs to international students about the campuses and community and provide support and assistance concerning housing, visas and related immigration issues.

SBC Student Services provides quality educational program in a positive and challenging learning environment for international students of all ages and to maximize their individual potential to compete in a global society while enriching, respecting, and honouring their cultural heritage.

SBC Student Services core purpose is to enhance the British University student community by providing professional management services, while demonstrating excellent customer service practices through dedication and commitment to enrich the student’s social, cultural, and educational experience at British Universities. Our employees show great pride and dedication in serving the UK Uni campus and student community. Nearly half of our full-time employees are UK University students and alumni.

The mission of the organization is to provide facilities, services and activities that optimize the student experience and to provide predictable financial support for all university Students,.

News

The Student Bills News Service is an organization that was founded to provide teenagers with local, national, and world news that is of interest to them. SBNS was also founded as a place for student journalists around the nation to receive national recognition for their work.

SBNS is currently looking for university students, students in middle and high schools around the country to join our team. Provided below are the descriptions of all the positions at SBNS. If you are interested in joining our team fill out this form and one of our Administrative Staff Members will be in touch with you. SBNS is currently looking to expand internationally as well. If you are a student living outside the U.K and would like to join our team, send us an email.

We also work with students one-on-one to help build journalism skills and improve the quality of student-centred media on campus.

Our Internships

Our interns are primarily responsible for the production of the SBNS Newswire, but our interns are involved in all aspects of what we do. This means monitoring news outlets, writing articles, conducting research projects, and helping to build our organization through networking and outreach. We also offer specific leadership roles within our organization, and we are interested in matching your individual strengths and interests with our service’s many needs. Some specific leadership opportunities we offer include:

Copy Editor. The copy editor ensures we’re at the top of our game, making certain our content is clear, informative, and free of errors.
Content Editor. The content editor develops a running list of fallback article topics (and angles) on student movements, administrative trends, and legislative happenings nationwide.
Recruitment Coordinator. The recruitment director works with internship offices and career centres across the country to manage our internship program and works to recruit the next wave of SBNS staff.
Webmaster. The webmaster runs our website and maintains our mediums.
